These past three years, all over the world pagan groups, circles, and solitary folks made large Goddess statues, painted huge Goddess images, and built labyrinths in preparation for the Millennium transition. |
Statues are being made in wood, plaster, concrete, clay, paper-mache, textiles and metal. The paintings are in all kinds of paint. Some people are making Goddess Collages, Quilts, Murals, and Labyrinths. Smaller pieces are also being made by many folks. What would you like to create to celebrate the return of the Great Goddess?
Many of the Goddess pieces are for public display and many are being displayed only in people's homes and in their gardens.
The point is to create a web of Goddess energy. You don't need to be public with your Goddess art unless you want to. The power is in the Creation of these pieces of sacred imagery. |

The ~Goddess 2000 Project~ is a healing Community Event that seeks to include all branches of the Earth Spirit, Goddess, Pagan, Dianic, Wiccan, Asatru, Yoruba, Heathen, Indigenous Spiritualities, and other Earth honoring folks.
Whatever our own individual Paths, we have come together here to Celebrate the return of the Goddess, focusing on our shared beliefs, not our differences. |
We are not seeking a homogenized tribute to the Goddess. These pages are written by one Pagan, using language and terms from their own Pagan tradition. If your tradition uses different terms and symbols, please join us and add to the richness of this event.
My expression is limited by my own experience, the voices of all Pagan and Heathen Paths that honor the Earth, and all others who celebrate the energy of the Goddess are needed to create rich and accurate expressions of Goddess Energy. |
Winter Solstice 1998 was the official Community Blessing Ritual and kick-off of the ~ Goddess 2000 Project ~ it went very well. |
~Goddess 2000 Project~ Spiral Dances, "Dancing the Goddess Home", were held on Winter Solstice 1999. All over the US and other countries, the participants of the ~Goddess 2000 Project~ welcomed the "Millennium of the Goddess" with community Spiral Dances. In the Southern Hemisphere, this was a celebration of Summer Solstice. Artwork was dedicated, feasts were held and community was built. | |||

Our function is solely to facilitate communication between local Pagans, celebrations, and community events marking the coming millenia.
